Yes! In case you are wondering, I am a massive fan of the show. So, I sat down in front of my TV and watched all the turmoil and drama unfold for the six episodes of the much controversial final season.

It has been discussed, admired, debated and hated by some but there’s one particular aspect of this phenomenon series that was striking: Amidst the war and bloodshed, the gorgeous and fancy mind-blowingly hairstyles that ruled throughout the 8 seasons of Game of Thrones.

So, in honor of the show’s epic final season, I present you some of the most iconic hairstyles in the Seven Kingdoms. From cascading curls to warrior braids, these styles are all wedding season-worthy.

Before I start, let’s get one thing clear about the hairstyles on Game of Thrones – nearly everyone wears a wig or a hairpiece. But all the styles are in the same basic fashion-: braids, twists, curls, and half-up buns-. You can go as elaborate or as simple as you want and can potentially create these looks from a bohemian style to a sophisticated one. Braids might just be one of the most versatile hairstyles around. It can be worn tight to the head or flowing loosely, thick or thin, in ponytails, half-ponies, buns, crowns, neat or messy. And you can add tiaras, delicate chain headpieces, combs, flowers, or veils.

Let’s have now a look at these 6 delightful hairdos of the main female characters of Games of Thrones.

SANSA STARK

When you decide to have a destination wedding, you are given the opportunity to create a memorable trip for you and your guests. Providing multiple occasions to get together beside the wedding itself- like a welcome dinner or a farewell brunch as well as activities for your guests- will create beautiful moments to cherish. A professional planner will come in handy in simplifying all the organizations involved. Wedding planning is a skill that comes with tons of knowledge and experience of strategy, finance, management, leadership, crisis management and public relations. It requires expertise to execute events and handle logistics, details timings, and practicalities successfully.

CERCEI LANNISTER

You can love her or hate her, but Cercei is undoubtedly one of the characters you can’t stay indifferent to. Simple, beautiful, and effortlessly chic, this is one of the hairstyles that I thought looked the best on her. Playing with the volumes, delicate braids are overlapped into an intricate woven pattern around the head, and long, luscious wavy strands of hair left flowing on the shoulders. Enhanced with an embellished hairpin or a Waltz veil, this hairstyle is perfect on an A-line wedding dress with a boat neckline.

MARGAERY TYRELL

A cloud of loose tousled chunk curls and double buns looped in a romantic yet sexy half knot to create volume and body that reveal the presence of her neck. Half-up, half-down ‘do, this classy hairstyle is deliciously elaborate but somehow nonchalant. Adorned with a tiara, or a double hair comb or even a Blusher veil, this hairstyle would look gorgeous on a bare shoulders mermaid dress with a sensual cleavage.

ARYA STARK

These two braided buns that begin at the nape of the neck and culminate in an ornate twists at the forehead are well suited for short hair. Embellished with pearls pins, this is a sweet look that can hide a fierce temper perfect for a sexy modern bride with a minimalist Sheath dress completed with an Elbow—length veil or a bridal jumpsuit.

LADY MELISANDRE

A sophisticated and mysterious look for the Red Priestess with this half-up hairdo. A large rosette bun made from elaborate braids is wrapped back high at the top of the head while the loose hair is tousled in a wavy look. This hairdo’ would look dead gorgeous on a trumpet wedding dress with a Double tier veil.

DAENERYS TARGARYEN

Weddings, in general, require a lot of planning, and most brides and grooms cannot handle the stress of doing everything themselves. So many of the couples nowadays lead busy professional and personal lives. They simply do not have time to carry out a wedding in line with their dream vision. And planning a wedding remotely can add more to the stress as the couple is sometimes unable physically and personally to select their venue and all their vendors.

Thinking of adopting one of these looks? Just do not lose sight of the fact that you should wear the hairstyle that favors the characteristics of your face and accompanies your wedding dress perfectly. More than looking for a super-elaborate hairdo, you should choose the one that helps you highlight your personality and makes you feel comfortable with your appearance.
