A Roman affair: the elopement wedding
Uma and Bobby are from the USA. They were both at their second marriage and wanted a romantic celebration for just the both of them in Rome before they would eventually head for a tour in the most gorgeous cities in Italy for their honeymoon.
Even though they were planning an elopement, Uma insisted on celebrating as if they had a hundred guests. She brought for the occasion, a beautiful wedding dress. She required us to arrange the services of a make-up and hair artist, a photographer, and a private limo to take her and Bobby around the city for pictures after the ceremony. She also asked us to book for her a refined restaurant for dinner with a stunning view of Rome as well as a tier wedding cake.
For the ceremony, we suggested a hidden garden in an XVth hundred palazzo in the center of Rome with an officiant and a cello to accompany their vows. And “When in Rome do like Romans do!” A ride on a “motorino” and the degustation of a “gelato” was a nice touch to be added to this Roman adventure!
